The Gulf of Mexico Alliance needs pictures.
What better place to get them than from our partners!
We need quality images from those of you that live, work, and play around the Gulf so we’ve decided on a competition. The contest is now closed – thank you for all the submissions! We are now on to the judging portion of the contest.
We need photographs that relate to any of our six themes: coastal resilience, data & monitoring, education & engagement, habitat resources, water resources, and wildlife & fisheries. Images must relate to the Gulf of Mexico and/or its watersheds within the five U.S. Gulf States.
Who can submit?
We will divide judging into two categories. A Junior Division will include anyone under the age of 18. An Adult Division is for people over 18.

- Photos must be your original work.

Winners & Awards
When you submit your photo, choose the theme you think best fits your image. We may choose to put your image in another theme if we think it fits better somewhere else. Our volunteers will pick the top five to ten images from each theme, in both age groups, and create two pools of photos. We will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and a Best in Show for both age groups. Best in Show images will be featured on the Alliance website homepage and featured in our eNewsletter. We will throw together a swag bag of goodies for our winners.
